The Volvo V60 Polestar T8

This 2020 Volvo has many amazing features but the best one is that it is a wagon! This is the Volvo V60 Polestar T8, and it is a seriously cool family racer.

The most interesting part about this new, fast Volvo wagon is how it makes it’s power. Volvo already has great safety and environmental credentials, but to help save the environment, the V60 Polestar has an electric engine that boosts the turbocharged inline 4 to 415 horsepower and, due to its electric motors, it makes an incredible 495-pound feet of torque. This performance wagon also has one rocket ship like zero to 60 time too, 4.6 seconds to be exact. That’s faster than most four-door sports cars like the AUDI S3, and the Focus RS.

My next favorite thing about the V60 Polestar is how it looks. I have a thing for sporty wagons and this is at the top of my list for looks. The rear fenders are my favorite part, mainly because it looks like an aftermarket addition body kit in a way, where it sticks out the side with aggressive flares. Also, all of the vents are functional, unlike most new cars that have fake ones.

Also, since it’s a Volvo, it’s very safe (stay tuned for that article). It has solid, heavy doors and a sturdy roof, which makes it weigh 4522 pounds. The turbocharged four banger makes a really smooth sound, but it does not have the pops and crackles that its German rivals have.

This 2020 T8 is a plug-in hybrid (I wrote about it here In The Future Should Cars Be Hybrid Or Electric) which basically means you change it for a bit and then you fill it up with a small amount of gas.

I really think that this is one of the best wagons of 2020. You really can’t get a better bang for buck sports family performance hauler. I really like this car (I hope our family gets one) just because of how good it is, and that why it’s my pick for the Best Wagon of 2020.
