The Great GT500

The top of the line pony car and one of the coolest track-focused muscle cars. It’s the 2020 Ford Shelby GT500. A very, very cool car.

The new Mustang GT500 is one incredible looking car. Ford put so much carbon fiber and it looks so good. two of my favourite parts about this car are the carbon wheels and the new big black wing on the back. The front bumper has canards that are integrated into the bodywork. All of the aero parts make this new Shelby look so perfect.

The GT500 has a, you guessed it, A V8. A Supercharged 5.2 Liter V8 making 760 buff horses and 625-pound feet of torque. This is a proper muscle car, front-engine rear-wheel drive. unlike the new C8 corvette which is one a muscle car. This Cobra zoom to 60 in 3.3 seconds and somehow has a top speed of 180. That’s not that good considering that the 2013 GT500 could hit 200 miles per hour.

This car is very cool for a lot of reasons. But the main one is it can be a road trip car, and then go out and race on a drag strip or race track and It will win. This car can be daily driven really easily because it feels like a normal Mustang. You can daily drive it but you must have over 80,000 dollars to do so.

The Blue Oval did a great job on this new GT500. Shelby also tuned it very well. It has all of the comforts of a normal Mustang. For example heated seats, Sync 3, and many other high tech features. This is why it’s my pick for the best practical sports car, even if its a bit expensive.
