This M car is one of the best sleepers that you can get. It does not look like much, but it packs a punch. It’s the new 2020 BMW M5, and it’s one insane car.
One reason this is a super quick sleeper car is because it has 600 horsepower and 553 pound feet of torque. This is coming from a twin turbocharged 4.4 L V8. The gearbox is a 8 speed auto that can distribute any amount of power to each wheel. So you can make a 600 horsepower front wheel drive M5 if you really wanted.
2020 is the 35th year of the 5 Series. So this year BMW made a special edition called the M5 35 years edition. It will have one of the coolest interiors ever - nice M spec seats, M steering wheel and a super rare 35 years edition drive selector.
The M5 might look like a normal family car, but it is not. It’s a super duper fast family sedan. So one minute you can be dropping your kids at school and the next be going 100 MPH around a small bend at Languna-Seca. It just doesn’t look like a car that is electronically limited to 163 miles per hour. It can even get to 60 in 2.8 seconds. That’s a super car beating number.
The M5 is an amazing car, But its a bit to pricey. At a base price of $104,695 it’s not cheap. So if you have the money this is an amazing car, but if you don’t Then get the M3, the baby brother to the M5. It is less powerful, shorter and cheaper. The M5 is the best sporty sedan you can get, but if you’re on a budget then it’s better to get the M3.
