The First Hrdrogen Hypercar

The First Hrdrogen Hypercar

Hydrogen is a super light fluid that can be used as fuel to give great mileage. So, when Hyundai Invented the first car that used hydrogen fuel it truly delivered insane mileage. I then knew someone would make a supercar out of this new type of fuel. Finally, 7 years later we now have a hydrogen supercar, or should I say hypercar.

A couple of weeks ago a company called Hyperon released their first car, and let me tell you this car could shock the whole performance car world. They have been working on this project for over 10 years now, and those 10 years have paid off because this car IS the new future for the hypercar.

It’s a 1,750 Horsepower beast that can go to 60 miles per hour in just 2.2 blistering seconds. It has a top speed of 221 miles per hour. Those are numbers the car industry has seen before, but never in a hydrogen car!

The interior is one of the coolest ever with a 92-Inch display (take that Tesla!) and makes up the entire center console and the dashboard. It also has gesture control for everything in the car. It is super luxurious with very comfortable seats and a very weird steering wheel. Also, like the Tesla Model S the Hyperon has a panoramic roof with glass that goes to the back of the car.

You won’t believe it but this cars’ curb weight is only 2275 pounds, so it's super light. When you put together the lightweight, aerodynamics (that was tested for years), and the fact that it runs on hydrogen, it gives an incredible  1000 plus miles with one charge. You would only need to recharge 3 times to get to New York from California. Hyperon stated that it will only take 3-5 minutes to recharge.

Hyperon also wants to make hydrogen charging stations like the supercharging stations that Tesla. Hyperon also wants to start making a line of hydrogen cars like Tesla but Hydrogen instead of Electric. They are hoping to release another car by 2021.

The Southern California based company plans to release the XP-1 to the public by early 2022. There will only be 300 cars that will be made and they will cost around 7 figures. They will be super hard to get your hands on as there will be an application process like the Ford GT where you could be rejected to buy one.

This new type of Hydrogen hypercar will definitely bring more hydrogen-powered cars to the market. If this is what hydrogen can do we will have some super cool and fast cars in the future.
